Contigo is helping our clients with Cybersecurity concerns. First, let’s define just what is Cybersecurity.
Cybersecurity is the body of technologies, processes and practices designed to protect networks, computers, programs and data from attack, damage or unauthorized access.
Ensuring cybersecurity requires coordinated efforts throughout our clients IT resources. Elements of cybersecurity include: Application security, Network Security, Disaster Recovery, Operational Security, and End User Security.
In reality our clients have to walk the line between being operationally efficient and completely secure.
Here is what Contigo is doing to assist our clients with Cybersecurity.
First, we’ve begun a series of Friday morning training sessions for all your employees. Many of these short, to the point, training videos are offering your employees tips for avoiding malicious attacks.
Secondly, we’ve recently staffed a position that focuses on identifying cybersecurity threats throughout our client base. Contigo already has multiple monitoring solutions in place that send us useful security alerts, but our new staff member will look into areas of concerns that go beyond basic alerting. Once risks are identified, or noticed, we’ll take proactive action.
In addition, each Contigo client has different security protocols within their environment. Contigo has invested heavily in applications that allow our technicians to be made aware of unique security protocols that exist within each client. When one of your employees opens a ticket with our staff, a pop-up and banner are presented to our staff, suggesting what security processes need to be reviewed before acting on any support request.
Lastly, we continue to evolve our product suite to address smartphones, device tracking, data recapture, and encryption.
Contigo continues to seek the best practices and tools to address our clients cybersecurity concerns.
